KISS or AC/DC fan? Here are two collections you want

If you like KISS and AC/DC and have a coffee table that needs a coffee table book, then this is for you.

KISS: 1977-1980 is a collection of images by onetime Bruce Springsteen girlfriend — and professional photographer — Lynn Goldsmith. Put together with the blessing and assistance of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, it features both performance and studio shots, many of them never-before-seen. It will be out in October, but you can order it here.

Six days after the KISS book comes AC/DC – Rock or Bust: The Official Photographic Tour Book. With an introduction by Angus Young, the 264 pages cover the band’s Rock or Bust tour, which means there will be photos of both singers on that journey — Brian Johnson and his replacement, Axl Rose. It is available for pre-order here.

KISS with their make-up, costumes and theatrics makes for colorful and unique photos.
Same can be said for AC/DC, especially Angus Young and his trademark schoolboy outfit.
While the KISS book will bring back memories of their golden years, it might be more interesting to flip through a book documenting AC/DC’s long career and not just one that concentrates on one tour.
